what3words Compass is a handy navigation feature that keeps it simple: just follow the arrow until your reach your destination! It works offline too, so it’s a great tool when you’re in a remote location.
Please note this feature is only available in the what3words app.
How to use Compass in 3 steps:
Open the app and find the what3words address you need.
Tap Navigate, then what3words Compass.
Just follow the arrow! The distance to your destination will be displayed at the top of the screen. The arrow will turn into a tick once you’ve arrived.
Tip: You’ll be prompted to quickly calibrate your phone before you set off to ensure Compass is as accurate as possible. You can skip this step by selecting Don’t ask me again but we always encourage it to be done for better location accuracy, especially on older devices.
