How do I voice search a what3words address if I’m not a Pro subscriber? (App only)

If you want to input a single what3words address with your voice using a free account, you can use Offline Voice. This is limited to only speaking a single what3words address (with no other words than the what3words address). Follow the steps below to enable it. Please note this is also possible for Pro subscribers if they want to be able to voice input a what3words address offline. 

How to add Offline Voice to your home screen (app only):

1. Tap the menu icon to the top left of the screen

2. Go to Settings

3. Tap Offline Voice

4. Toggle to ‘on’. You’ll now see the Offline Voice button appear beneath the search bar

How to use Offline Voice:

1. Tap the Offline Voice button to search for a what3words address aloud

2. Say the what3words address without the slashes or dots, for example “filled count soap”

3. Select the correct what3words address from the list of suggestions

Using voice search in the what3words app

1. In the search bar, tap the voice icon. It’s the one on the far right, with /// on a microphone.

2. Say the what3words address without the slashes or dots, for example “filled count soap”.

3. Select the correct what3words address from the list of suggestions.
