How do I share a what3words address?

Using the what3words app

1. Open the app and find the what3words address for the location you’d like to share.

2. Tap Share and select the messaging app you want to use. A link to the what3words address will appear in the app you've chosen.

Note: You can also tap the copy icon to the right of the what3words address at the bottom of your screen. You can then paste this wherever you want to share it. If you're using an older version of our app, the 3 words will be at the top of your screen instead; to copy them, long press the address and tap ‘Copy’.

Using the online map

1. Select the square you need.

2. Click Share below the search bar.

3. Choose how you’d like to share it, or click the copy icon to copy a link you can paste elsewhere.
